I sat down and wrote this 1300 word story just for fun.  It's a light-hearted look at a cowboy who wishes for a wife and suddenly gets one.  I do not have any plans to expand this right now.

For anyone who's read Meant To Be, this is Penelope and Cole Hunter's story.  I loved these two characters and wanted to go in more detail on their romance, but since I couldn't without dragging that storyline, I decided to make this story in order to get their full romance out. 

If you've read Eye of the Beholder, then you will remember Tom Larson, who is Dave Larson's big brother who is married to Jessica.  In this novella, you get the story of how these two got together.  It is a romantic comedy. 

Tom Larson is having trouble finding a wife, and Jessica Reynolds decides to help him overcome his awkward and clumsy manners so he can attract women.

This is a historical romance (R) that was inspired while I was writing "A Bride for Tom".  In "A Bride for Tom", Jessica had a good friend named Margaret who had a terrible time finding a man, so at the end of the story, she had posted an ad for a husband.  And she got a response.  Only the man who sent the reply couldn't make it due to a fatal accident.

But he had a brother, Joseph Connealy who --after his wife passed away--was stuck raising four small boys by himself.  He's the one who shows up to Omaha to marry Margaret.  She takes one look at the boys and wonders if she has what it takes to be a mother.  A tender romance with a twist of humor.

Since these two novellas do go together, I will offer this as one combined book in case you would like to download it as one file.  "A Bride for Tom" will be first and "A Husband for Margaret" will be the second.  This will be the version that I'll put into paperback and upload to Amazon's Kindle.  I will leave the two novellas separate on Smashwords and on this website.
